WHO ARE WE?
Shadow Bang is the brainchild of friends Ana Koutoulas and Linda Coy. When Ana and Linda first met at a roller derby event, they quickly found friendship. Their shared love for all things local, grungy and street level drew them both to become established creatives and entrepreneurs in the community of Long Jetty (NSW, Australia).
As a self-described "mad collector" and "lover of repurposing", Ana's love for all things creative and design has seen her behind the wheel of a number of successful businesses.
Ana's entrepreneurial spirit emerged at the age of 16 where she began designing and selling her own hand-made jewellery in boutiques. She quickly combined her qualifications in Jewellery and Object Design and interest in social work when she opened The Glass Onion Society
cafe (a prominent feature of Long Jetty) at the mere age of 25! Here Ana could combine both her loves of creativity and helping people.
However, Ana's biggest love is her sausage dog, Lady Pickles, who you can often find assisting in store.
Linda is a third-generation Long Jetty-ian and despite moving house near nineteen times, she always seems to end up back in The Jetty.
Opening her first photography business, Chasing Brightness
, back in 2007, Linda is often flown around the world to do what she loves - photograph people in love.
Launching her second business, Dapper Darlings Vintage
, back in 2012, Linda has become an established specialist in vintage clothing, street wear and independent labels.
Linda's other loves include her tattoo artist husband, Dan and their cat lovingly nicknamed "Fatty".
